The Beconcini family has been living in the heart of Tuscany for 4 generations, taking care of a territory suited to wine production. Thanks to hundred years of pilgrimages along the Via Francigena that goes through these lands, the Tempranillo grape came by chance and adapted to this environment. After studies and research on their Pre-phylloxera plants, Leonardo and Eva chose to naturally propagate this now adapted vine, and became its custodians. In addition to Sangiovese, which remains the undisputed King of this area, this small family winery grows Tempranillo, with devotion and foresight, practicing organic viticulture.
A beautiful image of how history, the resilience of the vine, love and respect for the land and family history, and man's ability to give style to an agricultural product, can get to create and maintain something unique.
We had some connection problems.. but also so much fun! Thank you @pietrobeconcini
