आंध्र प्रदेश के विशाखापट्टनम में स्टीरीन गैस लीक होने से भारी तबाही मच गई. तकरीबन 5 हजार लोगों के इससे प्रभावित होने की बात सामने आ रही है. कोरोना महामारी के फैलाव को रोकने के लिए देश भर में लॉकडाउन का ऐलान होने के बाद कंपनी को भी बंद कर दिया गया था. गुरुवार को 40 दिन के बाद कंपनी के परिचालन की तैयारी चल रही थी. इसी बीच ये बड़ा हादसा हो गया. जहरीली गैस के संपर्क में आने से 8 लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है. वहीं करीब 800 लोग अस्पताल में भर्ती है.
