Rabbit cheats deaths as it outruns leopard in Sri Lanka national park

This is the moment a quick-footed rabbit managed to outwit a leopard in southeast Sri Lanka.

The heart-stopping incident took place at the popular Yala National Park on July 9, 2019.

Footage shows the leopard waiting patiently before pouncing on the bunny. However, keeping its cool, the rabbit manages to evade the disgruntled predator and hop inside a bush to safety.

Yala National Park is the second-largest national park in Sri Lanka which houses crocodiles, elephants, leopards and several species of birds.
