World leaders have pledged to work together in a landmark collaboration, to speed up the development of drugs, tests and vaccines to diagnose and treat COVID-19.
According to the World Health Organization on Friday, world leaders including French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel will launch a global initiative to accelerate the work on drugs, tests and vaccines against the virus.
The group has pledged to share access to treatment and vaccines to other countries and commit to the international partnership.
