The Question of the Day is "What is the difference between Silica Yarn and Ceramic Yarn?”

Answer: Silica Yarn and Ceramic Yarns are both used in Cables, they both have a High Temperature Resistance. Now, Silica Yarns are very smooth Yarns. Whereas, ceramic yarns are rough course yarns. Silica yarns are made from Silica Filaments and Ceramic Yarn is made from mineral wool. Now, the problem with mineral wool is it contains ASBESTOS. This Asbestos is highly cancerous, so it is not safe to use Ceramic Yarns.
