Today, we look at the recent visit of the Ecuadorian president Lenin
Moreno to the United States in order to sign economic and a security
agreements. Let's remember that the last president of Ecuador expelled the U.S. military base in Manta and that it has been 18 years since an Ecuadorean president was at the white house. So, in a time when Ecuador is still rejecting anti-austerity measures and the government itself, can we say that this is the last life-line that Moreno has to stay afloat?
