Newser reports a 66-year-old woman was arrested Saturday evening at a hotel in Louisiana.
The arrest came after a rather extraordinary day on the lam with her 12-year-old granddaughter.
Police say that an armed Evelyn Miller on Friday afternoon when she walked into a hospital in Jefferson Parish.
Apparently, her intention was to walk out with Adreana Miller.
When hospital staff attempted to prevent her from leaving with the child, she pointed a firearm at several of them.
