The character of Sonic the Hedgehog went through big changes during the process of the making of Paramount’s 2020 film. After his first design was revealed, fans were so angry that director Jeff Fowler promised to fix Sonic, pushing back the release date by four months. However, this isn’t the first time Sonic has undergone big design changes. From 1991 to now, Sonic has evolved from a Disney-esque woodland creature to a cool, suave, westernized bad boy.
