The Singpho ethno-cultural festival ‘Shapawng Yawng Manau Poi’ to begin this year from February 12 to February 15 at Inthem village in Margherita near Assam-Arunachal Pradesh. Every year the Singpho Community at the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh observes this festival with great fervor and enthusiasm. The festival is celebrated in commemoration of the progenitor of the tribe, Shapawng Yawng.
