Several Sections of people participated in AASU’s ‘Janatar Garjan’ programme to protest against contentious Citizenship Amendment Act at Silapathar in Dhemaji District on Friday.
The programme was held at Silapathar Hindi School playground.
Student’s bodies namely AATASU, AJYCP, KMSS and SMSS along with 30 indigenous organizations jointly stage protest against CAA 2019.
Bihu Singer Bipin Chowdang also staged a singing protest against CAA 2019 in the programme.
