Parisian police forces clash with firefighters in an intense protest over working conditions and pay on January 28.

Firefighters marched through the capital demanding an increase in their hazard bonus which has not been increased since 1990.

The police used a water cannon in an attempt to control the protest which is part of a nationwide strike against government reforms.
