Clever Indian farmer creates ‘sugarcane train’ made of 10 trolleys hooked to tractor

An enterprising farmer created a ‘sugarcane train’ on January 16 to transport his crop to a sugar factory in south India.

Hanumantha Gadigeppa Makani, a farmer in Sunadholi village in Gokak taluk, Karnataka, wanted to transport his sugarcane crop to Satish Sugars Factory.

It would have taken multiple trips to shift his entire crop to the factory which was 12km away. So he hit upon an idea and borrowed 10 trolleys from other villagers and attached all of them to his tractor.

Hanumantha drove his tractor slowly on the road and reached the factory without any incident.

His feat caught the attention of passers-by, many of who ran along with the ‘sugarcane train’ to take selfies.
