This is Episode 3 of the partly missing story, 'The Web of Fear' reconstructed by Graham Strong and Richard Develyn. This is an incredibly early reconstruction and is also very rare, being reconstructed by Strong and Develyn themselves and is quite possibly one of the first to be produced in the original range of reconstructions. For the exception of the Develyn, Franks, Palmer and Cranford reconstructions, it is thought that no new groups came into existence until Bruce Robinson began recreating missing Doctor Who stories around 1997/1998 and the Joint Venture team started to do the same in early 1998.

The Strong and Develyn reconstruction of The Web of Fear is likely to have been created as early as 1995. There are some differences between this version and the one produced by Joint Venture in 1998, in particular with the closing credits as the Strong and Develyn version included David Myerscough-Jones as designer whereas the Joint Venture version did not.

Hope you enjoy this important part of Doctor Who reconstruction history which helped to lay the foundations for later reconstructions of the future.
