Cheeky wild monkey snatches tourist's glasses at temple in Bali

A cheeky monkey snatches the eyeglasses of a tourist who was trying to take a selfie with him.

The primate is a resident inside the Uluwatu Temple, a popular tourist destination in Bali, Indonesia.

In the video taken on November 30, holidaymaker Connor Sargent was surprised when the monkey swiftly took his eyeglasses.

The monkey then went to the higher end of the roof to protect his ill gotten gains.

Connor said: "The monkey nicked my glasses whilst I was stupidly trying to take a selfie with it."

Luckily, Connor was able to get the glasses back with the help of the temple workers who are experienced in retrieving items stolen by the primates.
