Delhi will be buzzing with a book fair for the next nine days. Preparations for the 28th World Book Fair have been completed at Pragati Maidan. Union Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank will inaugurate the fair on Saturday. Starting from January 4, the book fair will run till January 12. This time in the World Book Fair, the life and philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi will be seen as unique. This time the theme of the fair is 'Gandhi: Writers of Writers', to commemorate Gandhi's 150th birth anniversary. The thinking behind this is that Gandhi's writing has influenced the authorship of many writers.

दिल्ली अगले नौ दिनों तक किताबों के मेले से गुलजार रहेगी। 28वें विश्व पुस्तक मेले के लिए प्रगति मैदान में तैयारियां पूरी हो गई हैं। केन्द्रीय मंत्री डॉ. रमेश पोखरियाल निशंक शनिवार को मेले का उद्घाटन करेंगे। चार जनवरी से शुरू होने वाला पुस्तक मेला 12 जनवरी तक चलेगा। विश्व पुस्तक मेले में इस बार महात्मा गांधी के जीवन और दर्शन की अप्रतिम छटा देखने को मिलेगी। गांधी के 150वें जयंती वर्ष के उपलक्ष्य में इस बार मेले की थीम ‘गांधीः लेखकों के लेखक’ रखा गया है। इसके पीछे सोच यह है कि गांधी की लेखनी ने कई लेखकों की लेखनी को प्रभावित किया है।
