Sri Lanka on Wednesday (January 1) announced the sixteen-member squad for the upcoming Twenty20 series against India, starting December 5. Veteran cricketer Lasith Malinga will be leading the side in the three-match series, which ends on January 10. The first T20I will be played at Bhupen Hazarika International Stadium in Guwahati on January 5, the second match will be held at Holkar Stadium, Indore. While the third and final match will be held at MCI Stadium in Pune on January 10.
श्रीलंका ने अपनी टीम का ऐलान कर दिया है. भारत के खिलाफ होने वाली तीन मैचों की टी20 सीरीज के लिए श्रीलंका ने स्क्वाड का ऐलान कर दिया है. बड़ी खबर ये है कि श्रीलंका ने सीनियर खिलाड़ी एंजेलो मैथ्यूज को वापस टी20 टीम में बुला लिया है. मैथ्यूज की लम्बे समय के बाद टी20 टीम में वापसी हुई है. जबकि कप्तानी का भार लसिथ मलिंगा ही संभालेंगे. श्रीलंकाई क्रिकेट बोर्ड ने कहा कि 32 वर्षीय मैथ्यूज श्रीलंका की इस टी20 इंटरनेशनल टीम का हिस्सा होंगे, जिसकी कप्तानी लसिथ मलिंगा कर रहे हैं. मैथ्यूज ने अपना आखिरी टी20 इंटरनेशनल मैच अगस्त 2018 में दक्षिण अफ्रीका के खिलाफ खेला था.
