Sheikh Abdullah's birth anniversary and Martyrdom Day holidays in the new Jammu and Kashmir have been canceled. In fact, the Jammu and Kashmir administration has removed the former Chief Minister Sheikh Abdullah's birth anniversary and Martyr's Day in the list of government holidays announced for the next year. October 26, which is celebrated as 'Merger Day', has been given a place in this list.
