A schoolboy in Thailand allegedly shot dead his classmate who bullied him for being gay.

The 12-year-old youngster, who has not been named, told police he was angry that the lad, also 12, constantly teased him by calling him ‘queer’ and slapping his head in lessons.

He allegedly stole his father’s handgun and shot his tormentor in the face as he tied his shoelaces outside the classroom in Nonthaburi, Thailand on Wednesday (December 12).

Shocked pals said the shooter was wearing a black mask and black gloves before pointing a gun at the other boy and shooting him between the eyes.

Footage shows medics battling to revive the wounded boy in a pool of blood on the ground outside the classroom.

While the alleged shooter went to the toilet and changed into the school uniform. He is said to have tried to escape but was stopped by the security guard at the school gate.

Teachers searched him and found a Walther PP pistol. Staff at the school claimed the boy admitted the crime and said that he did it because he was always bullied by the victim.

The teacher said: "He told me that the victim always tease him, he was mocked about he being gay and was also hit and punch."

The rescue team came to save the victim but it was too late and he died in the pool of his blood.

The victim's mother, Duangchan, blamed computer games.

She said: "My son was a good boy and I believe the culprit was trying to imitate computer games."

Police Major General Thanayuth Wuthijamrasthamrong said the police have not decided the charges yet as they need to question the suspect again with multidisciplinary staff.

The boy's father might also face charge as the police will check whether his gun was legally registered.

The police chief said: "The boy will be held in a detention home before we question him again with social workers and staff from various fields because he is still a teenager and after that we will decide on the charges.

"Moreover, we will ask for the registration papers of the gun that was used as a weapon as, perhaps the boys father illegally possessed a gun which led to the shooting."
