Diagnosed With Rare Cancer.
According to NHL.com, Lindblom was diagnosed with
Ewing's sarcoma during a team trip to Denver on Dec. 11.
According to the Mayo Clinic, Ewing's sarcoma occurs in the bones or in the soft tissue around the bones.
Less than 1,000 cases of Ewing's sarcoma are
diagnosed per year in the United States.
Lindblom reunited with his
teammates and coaches on Tuesday, Dec. 17. .
In the last week since Denver, since we found out the day we arrived there, this was the best day internally, how we feel, to see him,

According to 'People,' Lindblom will miss the remaining season and will require lifelong monitoring after completing chemotherapy and radiation treatment
