This wooden whale automata simulates swimming in very realistic way

This incredible wooden automata creation simulates a whale swimming in the ocean by spinning a crank mechanism.

Filmed on August 5, artist Sylvain Gautier showcases the incredible work of craft engineering and art all in one.

He explained: "This is a video of my latest automata creation. I call the whale 'Migaloo' in reference to the albino Humpback Whale."
