Sloth bear intrigues devotees by visiting Hindu temple every Tuesday and Saturday in eastern India

This sloth bear visits a local Hindu shrine in Nuapada, Odisha, on the same two days of each week.

The footage, recorded on Tuesday (December 10), shows the bear sitting in one corner of the temple while eating the prasad, a religious food offering consumed by worshippers.

Onlookers document the unusual sight and capture pictures while the bear enjoys it's treat.

According to reports, the bear visits the temple every Tuesday and Saturday lured by the prasad distributed in the shrine.
