Hommy Almonte is a business leader for Bristol-Myers Squibb. He has over 10 years of commercial experience in sales, marketing, and global operations. Hommy is skilled at quickly assessing and understanding company insights to improve operational effectiveness through innovative solutions and collaboration. He prides himself on serving customers well and driving company performance to new heights.

Hommy Almonte attended Rutgers College, the State University of New Jersey, where he earned his BA in economics. He also holds an MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management.

An employee of Bristol-Myers Squibb since 2011, Hommy Almonte has earned numerous promotions as a result of his skills, determination, and track record of success. He began his work there as a Territory Business Manager of Virology. A few years later, Hommy moved on to become the Associate Product Manager of Virology.

In 2015, Hommy Almonte was given the title of HCV Operations Lead of Worldwide Commercialization. In this role, Hommy worked with numerous HCV brand teams across Asia, Latin America, and Europe to ensure global franchise strategy was executed effectively.

In 2017, Hommy Almonte moved onto US Oncology within Bristol-Myers Squibbs. His first role in Oncology was Community Product Specialist. His work in this position included growing and marketing the Bristol-Myers Squibb Immuno-Oncology portfolio, specifically in Westchester, NY. That lead to Hommy’s current role as the Northeast Field Sales Trainer of US Oncology. In this role, Hommy works to train sales professionals in sales, business analytics, and disease state knowledge.
Despite his busy and successful career, Hommy Almonte is also very active. He enjoys all sports but golf is his all-time favorite. He has also participated in biking events, including a company-sponsored ride to raise cancer awareness that started in Kansas City and ended in Indianapolis.

Hommy Almonte also finds time to contribute to his community. He volunteers to help underprivileged populations in Haiti and has even traveled there to assist with building projects. Additionally, he is one of the leaders of UNderdogstuff Community, an organization that helps “underdogs” achieve financial freedom and wellbeing. As part of this organization, Hommy has facilitated and developed content for transformational workshops. He loves and lives by the quote, “Life is short, don’t hesitate.”
