Violence in Lyon as protests against retirement reform grip France

More than 20,000 people demonstrate in Lyon on Thursday (December 5) to protest against pension reform plans.

The filmer told Newsflare: "Violence between police and protesters took place along the route."

According to reports, by midday 180,000 people had joined the demonstrations across France, the biggest strike in years.
