Brazilians take to the streets after nine people killed in stampede during police operation in São Paulo

Residents of Sao Paulo’s Paraisopolis slums took part in a demonstration on Wednesday (December 4) after nine people died in a stampede during a police operation at a music event.

The protesters, who called for peace, carried banners reading "Stop killing us, enough".
