Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman counter attack on Congress in Lok Sabha. She said We donot have 'jijas' in our party, just workers. Nirmala Sitharaman was speaking in Lok Sabha during a discussion on the Taxation Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2019. Announcing that 11 crore toilets have been built across the country in last five years under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, Nirmala Sitharaman said that those who benefited from this scheme are not brother-in-laws. She said Who are those 11 cr people who got toilets in their houses? Are they someone's 'damaad or jija?' We don't have jijas in our party, we only have karyakartas.

लोकसभा में सोमवार को वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने कांग्रेस पर जोरदार पलटवार किया। मोदी सरकार की उपलब्धियां गिनवाने के साथ ही उन्होंने कांग्रेस सरकार पर जमकर हमला बोला। उन्होंने कहा कि आज कारपोरेट टैक्स कम करने में सिर्फ बड़े लोगों को नहीं बल्कि छोटे कारोबारियों को भी फायदा मिलता है। उन्होंने मोदी सरकार की उलब्धियां गिनाते हुए कहा कि उज्ज्वला योजना, आयुष्मान योजना और पीएम किसान सम्मान निधि में जिन लोगों को लाभ मिल रहा है, वे लोग हमारे भाई हैं क्या? देशभर में जिन 11 करोड़ घरों में शौचालय बने हैं वो किसी के जीजा के घर में बनाया गया क्या? जिन 8.1 करोड़ किसानों को पीएम किसान सम्मान निधि मिलता है, वो कौन हैं? क्या सब हमारे भाई या जीजा है। उन्होंने कहा कि बीजेपी पार्टी में कोई जीजा नहीं है, सब कार्यकर्ता हैं।
