Netflix Leases Famed NYC Movie Theater . The streaming service will occupy Manhattan's Paris Theater. Paris Theater is the area's last movie location that consists of one screen. The establishment, which opened in 1948, is located on West 58th Street. It shut down this past August but is now returning thanks to Netflix.
