Indian government workers have to wear helmets indoors as office ceiling is crumbling

Power department workers at an office in north India have resorted to wearing helmets indoors as the roof of their office have begun to collapse, due to neglect of the site.

Filmed on November 3, the office is located in Pili Kothi area in Banda, Uttar Pradesh, and serves around 12 employees.

According to one of the men working there, Shyam Babu says: "We are scared of getting injured and also for our lives, as the roof of the office in a dilapidated situation and can always fall, we complained several times to higher authority but they don't pay heed."

Another employees added that: "When customers come, they sometime laughs at us. We don't have other options than using helmets to save our lives."
