Voting is going on for the Block Development Council in Jammu and Kashmir. A total of 1,065 candidates are in the fray for the Block Development Council election, for which 26,000 Panch and Sarpanch are voting. This election has been boycotted by Congress, PDP and National Conference. In such a situation, only BJP and independent candidates are left in front of it. It is believed that this is perhaps the easiest election in Jammu and Kashmir for the BJP so far.
जम्मू-कश्मीर में ब्लॉक डिवेलपमेंट काउंसिल के लिए मतदान हो रहा है। ब्लॉक विकास परिषद के चुनाव में कुल 1,065 कैंडिडेट्स मैदान में हैं, जिनके लिए 26,000 पंच और सरपंच वोटिंग कर रहे हैं। इस चुनाव का कांग्रेस, पीडीपी और नैशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस ने बहिष्कार किया है। ऐसे में मुकाबले में सिर्फ बीजेपी और उसके सामने निर्दलीय उम्मीदवार ही बचे हैं। माना जा रहा है कि बीजेपी के लिए यह शायद जम्मू-कश्मीर में अब तक के सबसे आसान चुनाव हैं।
