The terrifying moment, filmed in the city of Shenyang on October 18, shows a bus crashing into a utility pole and knocking it down onto the ground.

A man walking past the area narrowly avoided being hit by the pole.

According to reports, the No.258 bus suddenly changed its direction to avoid a three-wheeler, causing the accident.

The bus was seriously damaged while several passengers and pedestrians were injured.

The case is being investigated, reports said.
