Terrifying moment biker is washed away by flood in India

This is the shocking moment a biker was washed away by the strong current of a flooded river.

The man lost his bike but managed to save his life by swimming to safety.

A local resident Sanabasappa Hospet said: “We warned him not to take the road, but he ignored us and went ahead saying he had some urgent work.”

The incident occurred near Vijayapura in Karnataka state on October 18.
