Thai woman smashes pot to free trapped cat

A woman from Surat Thani, southern Thailand had to smash open a pot to rescue a fat cat who was stuck inside.
Rattaporn Saringkarn, 26, found his pet Siamese cat named Ploy stuck in the large ceramic pot at his home.
Footage from last Thursday (October 17) shows how Rattaporn's mother, Somchit, had to smash open the garden pot with a wooden pestle.
The three-year-old female chubby moggy was then able to scamper away.
Rattaporn said that the mischievous cat was her usual calm self after the incident, unaware of the damage that she caused by making them smash the valuable garden pot.
He said: "She found the pot cozy then entered it, but I found her struggling to get out. We tried to pull her out but it was impossible because of her big belly."
''Finally, my mother had to smash the pot to get her out. After she was freed she went on walking around in the house like nothing had happened."
