Hello, today I'm going to be talking about how do you earn money on Youtube with affiliate marketing. Youtube is one of the greatest things ever invented.
The key to making money on YouTube is not with ads, that is by far the hardest way. A much easier way is to get someone off of YouTube as quickly as possible and onto your list.
You will notice that in the description there is a link. On all my videos I talk about that link at the end of my dog and pony show that put together.
The purpose of this link is to build my list. Your list is everything with affiliate marketing. When I mean a list is email addresses and names of people interested in your niche.
Then through email marketing you can promote various products and you can make lots of money doing it.
What you don't want to do is create a video then put an affiliate link directly in the description. The reason why is because if someone clicks on your link and doesn't buy anything, then you have lost all money from that person forever. That is a lot of money.
Most people do not buy the first time they look at something. They have to look at something many, many times. Even then it helps to create lots of urgency for then to open their wallet.
Affiliate marketing is not just posting a link and hoping and prying someone clicks on the link and buys something. That is not how it works.
That first sale is by far the hardest. Then comes the sales funnel, where you can have some residual income products and towards the end high ticket items where you can make a few thousand dollars per sale.
It really helps a ton if you get training on this list building and promotion process. This is where most of the money is made and where most of the work is. It doesn't matter if you have a video that gets millions of views if you don't make any money.
Next up when it comes to creating videos make them as targeted as you can. You shouldn't be making videos on lawncare or candles if you are in the make money online niche for example.
How do you come up with ideas on how to make a video? You could go to Quora and search your niche. Put those questions in quotation marks on Google and see what pops up? Is there lots of competition, is there other YouTube videos?
Another idea is to use Google. Type in a few keywords on something your interested in learning about and what to make a video on. At the bottom of video you will see “searchces related to...”
This tool alone can give you an insane amount of things to write about. Another idea is Youtube itself. When you start typing in the search box usually Youtube will give you many options. Those are all examples as well. You could also use Google keyword planner, so there is an insane amount of stuff you can make videos on.
