Britian and EU agree on draft of new Brexit deal: Jean-Claude Juncker, Boris Johnson
  • 5 years ago
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said a new deal has been reached between Britain and the EU.
"It's a reasonable, fair outcome, and reflects the large amount of work being --- we can deliver a real Brexit that achieves our objective."
According to Reuters... European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker confirmed that on Thursday, saying the agreement is "fair" and "balanced", and is testament to the two side's commitment to find solutions.
Boris Johnson believes the new deal takes back control, and urged parliament to get Brexit legislation passed on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Northern Ireland’s Democratic Unionist Party reportedly said it could not support the deal.
Attention now shifts to Thursday's EU summit in Brussels, where leaders will decide, whether to approve the deal or not.
