Spanish police fire rubber bullets to disperse protesters after Catalan independence leaders jailed

Spanish police used rubber bullets on Monday (October 14) to disperse demonstrators who had taken to the streets to protest the sentencing of Catalan separatists leaders.

One protester said: "I see many people with injuries because of the bullets."

Another said he saw: "At least two people with head injuries because of the bullets."
