The trial in the Supreme Court in the Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid case will be the second longest running hearing in the country's top court. In the Kesavanand Bharti vs Kerala dispute over fundamental rights, a bench of 13 judges had heard 68 days in five months.
