Ruby Rose recently posted a video to
Instagram showing the emergency back
surgery she had to undergo earlier this year. .
The 33-year-old actress revealed that
she herniated two discs doing intense stunt
work and was at risk of being paralyzed. .
[The herniated discs] were close to severing
my spinal chord. I was in chronic pain and
yet couldn’t feel my arms.., Ruby Rose, via Instagram.
She reportedly chose to reveal her injury to fans after they
started inquiring about the “pez dispenser scar” on her neck.
The stunt work that caused her injury was not being
performed for her latest show, ’Batwoman,’ but rather
occurred sometime in the past decade. .
She previously revealed in January 2018 that she
had undergone back surgery for a “spine issue.”.
I am now recovering from a back procedure, but
I do need to stay active, so before I get seen with
my cane and wheel chair in public, I’d rather put
