A brief foray into the story of one of the first domestically-designed and produced Argentine tanks, the Nahuel "Tiger" D.L.43. This tank was heavily inspired by the design of the American M4 Sherman. Only 12 were produced during the Second World War. Those that did see service were eventually outmoded, abandoned, and scrapped in the subsequent decades.
CORRECTION: Argentina severed diplomatic relations with Germany in 1944 but did not actually declare war until early 1945.
