October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The disease affects one in eight American Women and is the second leading cause of cancer death among women. There are more than 3.3 million breast cancer survivors living in the U.S., and many of them find increased vibrancy, better health, and a positive outlook through the joys of ballroom dancing. Starting September 20th and running through October 31st, Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Paradise Valley, Arizona will be offering dance lessons for $1 and packages for $10 to those who have gone through, are going through, or have survived breast cancer.
