Mother and daughter rescue koala bear after hit-and-run incident on Aussie road

A young male koala was left to die in the middle of Gorge Road near Chain of Ponds, South Australia after being brutally hit by an oncoming vehicle.

Footage from November 16, 2016, shows a mother and daughter tending to the injured koala after the incident where they waited for help to arrive.

The filmer said: "We sat with both the injured koala and gentleman who saved him."
