20 years of MERCY: A homegrown humanitarian icon

The Malaysian Medical Relief Society (MERCY Malaysia) marks its 20th anniversary this year.

The organisation has blossomed with teams sent to disaster-stricken zones and programmes rolled out in various countries and in different disasters.

The Star TV caught up with its founder, Dr Jemilah Mahmood, at the 2019 International Humanitarian Conference held recently at Sunway University.
