Japanese car sales in Korea tumble 56.9% in August y/y

As Koreans continue to boycott Japanese goods... in response to the ongoing trade spat, sales of Japanese cars nose dives.
According to the Korea Automobile Manufacturers Association, a decline of 56-point-9 percent on-year was marked... reducing the number to around 1-thousand-4-hundred vehicles in August.
A significant jump compared to the 17-point-2 percent on-year fall posted in July... when the boycott first began.
This corresponded to falling share of Japanese autos in the Korean market,... down to 7-point-7 percent last month,... compared to 16-point-9 percent a year before.
