Amazon Opens Its Largest Office to Date in India.
Amazon just outsourced their biggest project yet.
The tech giant established its largest corporate base
“in terms of total area" in the Indian city of Hyderabad.
The new office boasts a square footage of about 1.8 million and currently covers 9.5 acres.
The building accommodates up to 15,000 employees, a quarter of the company’s Indian workforce.
Plans to expand are down the line, with Amazon stating it will eventually grow the campus to 68 acres in an effort to establish a larger presence in India.
