A free 'Lord of the Rings’ massively multiplayer online game is in the works at Amazon Game Studios. The game was previously announced
last year by Athlon Games. Athlon revealed the story is set “long before the events of The Lord of the Rings, exploring lands, people and creatures never seen before.” The MMORPG will be available on PC and consoles, though it’s undisclosed which consoles.
