Wolverine Reportedly Joining the Avengers in the Next MCU Phase Ever since Disney’s purchase of 21st Century Fox,
fans have wondered when the X-Men characters
would appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). According to We Got This Covered, a source close to Marvel said Wolverine will make his appearance in the MCU alongside Thor, Scarlet Witch and more. Their source also confirmed that this addition
to the Avengers team would only happen after
the X-Men are initially introduced into the MCU. Wolverine plays a crucial role in many
of the comic book story lines, so it is
only fitting that he finally makes an
appearance on the big screen. It is not known whether or not
Hugh Jackman will be reprising the role. As previously stated by Kevin Feige,
president of Marvel Studios, it will be at least
