The Trump administration has released the final version of its controversial "public charge" rule—the latest measure in the government's ongoing hardline crackdown on immigration in the U.S. Speaking at a White House press briefing on Monday morning, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Acting Director Ken Cuccinelli said the rule would help promote "self-reliance" among immigrants.
