Indian team is still in dilemma on its crucial number-4 position in ODIs. Even in World cup, India missed a strong batsman at this position. Recently during the second ODI against West Indies, Indian captain Virat Kohli said that they will back Rishabh Pant to bat at number-4. However, Former Indian captain Sunil Gavaskar has disagreed to this move to send Pant at number-4. Rishabh could not grab the opportunity given to him in second match and failed to impress with the bat. India won this match comfortably but questions have been raised on Pant’s shot selection again.
