Drama unfolded in the national assembly Wednesday morning after Kwale Woman Representative Zuleikha Hassan walked into the chamber with her five month old baby. The legislator was however ejected from the house by presiding speaker Christopher Omulele for acting in gross violation of the National Assembly Standing orders. Zuleikha however defended her actions arguing that Parliament has failed to provide lactating members with specially designed rooms to breastfeed their babies.
