According to 'The Verge,' the new item will be a meatless version of Subway's meatball marinara.
Subway is planning to roll out the
'Beyond Meatball Marinara' in
nearly 700 locations across Canada
and the United States this September.
The meat substitute product, which doesn't have
a price yet, will be available to customers
for a limited time.
Subway is the latest chain to either team up with Beyond Meat and Impossible Foods on
meat substitute products.
Other fast-food spots who
have done the same include
Burger King and White Castle.
Subway has not revealed how long with the
Beyond Meatball Marinara will be on
its menu during the test run.
