Reuters reports that Sarah Palin can pursue her defamation claims against the NY Times. A federal appeals court revived her defamation lawsuit against the publication. Palin sued over an editorial that she said maliciously linked her to a 2011 mass shooting. Representative Gabrielle Giffords was wounded in the 2011 shooting. Lawyers for Palin did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The case is Palin v New York Times Co, 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, No. 17-3801.
