‘Sawan’ month is dedicated to Lord Shiva which is one of the most auspicious months according to Hindu culture and tradition. Devotees offered prayers at temple across the country on the third Monday of ‘Sawan’ today. People across nation also celebrated Nag Panchami festival along with the third ‘Somvaar’ of ‘Sawan’ month.
सावन महीने के तीसरे सोमवार को देशभर के शिवमंदिरों में भक्त उमड़ पड़े। कानपुर, मुरादाबाद से लेकर बनारस और झारखंड के प्रसिद्ध ज्योतिर्लिंग बाबा बैद्यनाथ मंदिर में भक्तों की भीड़ उमड़ पड़ी। तीसरे सोमवार को नाग पंचमी का पर्व भी मनाया जा रहा है। बीस साल बाद ऐसा संयोग बना है जब सावन सोमवार के दिन नाग पंचमी पड़ रहा है।
